Museums

- El Museo Latino - The first Latino Art & History museum and cultural center in the Midwest and one of only eleven in the United States.
- Loves Jazz & Arts Center - This art center explores the history and culture of African Americans in the arts.
- Strategic Air & Space Museum – Explore WWII and Cold War aircraft and artifacts, traveling exhibits, children’s gallery, flight simulator and more.
Attractions
- Lauritzen Gardens – Omaha’s Botanical Center features lush and luxurious gardens, a sprawling outdoor model train exhibit and four-season plant displays.
- Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo – Nationally renowned for its animal preservation efforts and remarkable exhibits, like the desert dome, rain forest and jungle, aquarium and IMAX 3D theater.

Festivals
- Playing with Fire – A five-concert series of blues music held at Lewis & Clark Landing, Riverfront Drive, on the banks of the Missouri River.
- Shakespeare on the Green - Outdoor Shakespeare festival held each summer in Elmwood Park.
- Summer Arts Festival - This annual festival fills the streets along downtown Omaha’s Gene Leahy Mall with three days of art, music, children’s activities, food and more.
