During Select Tour 2010, you will learn about the benefits of locating a project in Greater Omaha and you will have a chance to see the country’s best collegiate baseball!
2010 is the final year the NCAA Men’s College World Series will be played at historic Rosenblatt Stadium. Starting in 2011, the series will start its run downtown in the new state-of-art TD AMERITRADE Park Omaha.
Select Tour 2010 begins on Thursday, June 17, and culminates with the first game of the 2010 College World Series on Saturday, June 19.
During Select Tour, you will:
- Meet with some of Omaha's prominent business leaders and learn what makes the Greater Omaha area great for business.
- Hear from local and state economic development representatives to learn about Nebraska's valuable business incentives.
- Tour world-class Information Technology/Mission Critical operations, visit manufacturing/warehousing/distribution sites, view first-hand our many retail opportunities, or design a tour that meets your needs.
- Learn why national media, like Fortune and BusinessWeek, are singing Greater Omaha's praises.
- Experience some of the world-class cultural amenities and attractions that make up Greater Omaha's extraordinary quality of life.

5:30 p.m. Welcome dinner at Rick’s Boatyard Café (casual) - Joined by Greater Omaha Economic Development Partnership leadership and staff
Friday, June 18
8 – 11 a.m. Official welcome breakfast at Gallup - Joined by officials from the city and leaders of the Greater Omaha business community
Briefings - Why Omaha? - Advantages of doing business in Greater Omaha Nebraska Advantage New and revised business incentives
11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Lunch - Joined by members of the Economic Development Council and Greater Omaha Chamber board members
1:30 – 4 p.m. Concurrent Tours - Select one from the following: Data Center/Mission Critical Operations Manufacturing/Warehousing/Distribution Retail Customized for your interest
4:30 p.m. Personal time at hotel
6 p.m. Quality of life dinner at Midtown Crossing at Turner Park (Mutual of Omaha’s new $325 million mixed-use development in historic midtown Omaha) - Joined by community leaders
Saturday, June 19
8:30 a.m. Casual group breakfast at hotel
10 a.m. Visit Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo
11:30 a.m. Tailgate lunch at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo
1 p.m. NCAA Men’s College World Series opening game at Rosenblatt Stadium
5 p.m. At conclusion of game - return to hotel or depart for airport
