Office Viewed as Pivotal to Company's Growth, Will Employ Up to 40 people

OMAHA, Neb., Nov. 19, 2008 -- People Search Media, a leading provider of Internet paid people search services, is launching a new member services operation in Omaha. The center is expected to employ up to 40 people within two years.

Based in California's "Silicon Valley," People Search Media said it chose to locate the new facility on the "Silicon Prairie" because of Omaha’s reputation for successful support center operations; the caliber of the workforce and additional business incentives, including the Nebraska Advantage Act.

"I am so excited about the opportunity to bring my experience working with contact centers and my love of my hometown together,” said Michelle Steinbeck, People Search Media's director of member services and the new Omaha center director. “I was delighted that People Search Media was so willing to trust the natural extension of the Silicon Valley to the new Silicon Prairie. I know others like PayPal and LinkedIn have carved a successful trail, but to follow with such belief is a fabulous opportunity for Omaha."

Profitable from day one, People Search Media specializes in pay-per-use and membership-based people search and privacy products on the Internet. The company owns dozens of Web sites and applications in the people search arena, providing reverse phone lookups, reverse e-mail lookups and related services like privacy monitoring.

The Omaha office, located at 4526 S. 143rd St., will focus strictly on customer care. Member service representatives will assist with member education, troubleshooting, search result research and membership upgrades or terminations. Five agents will initially staff the office. They are currently undergoing product training.

"Omaha continues to add vibrant companies to a strong, economic landscape," said David G. Brown, president and CEO of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce. "We are excited to welcome People Search Media to the metro, and we are confident the quality of our workforce will prove beyond a doubt that Omaha is a great place and the right place to grow their business."

People Search Media CEO Matthew Monahan said the company is gearing up for "explosive growth," adding the Omaha operation will be a "pivotal point in allowing the California office to truly focus on the business and product, knowing the service aspect is in place to support the growth."

As the Omaha office expands to 40 employees, Steinbeck said additional positions in IT, communications and other business roles can be expected. All positions will be "highly desirable."

"The atmosphere in the work environment, much like the headquarters in Palo Alto, California, will be one of amazing collaboration and action," said Steinbeck. "The dress code is casual and the amenities in the office will make it a fun place to come to work for each day."
