Greater Omaha education

Here in Greater Omaha, parents love the quality of the education their children receive and employers love the quality of the people they produce.

Greater Omaha is home to a higher percentage of high school and college graduates than the national averages. In fact, 92.4% of adults 25 and older are high school graduates, compared to the national average of 85.5%. And, 34.9% have earned bachelor’s degree or above, compared to the national average of 28.2%.

Elementary and Secondary Schools
It’s a commitment to education that is built on a strong system of public school districts, with more than 300 facilities spanning eight counties. In fact, Expansion Management recently ranked Greater Omaha eleventh among mid-sized metros for the "Best Public Schools." Additional options include private, special service and alternative schools.
