With one of the largest Chamber memberships in the nation,
the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to continuing the momentum in economic development. Its very mission statement – to increase business, investment and employment in Greater Omaha – is a commitment to the entire metropolitan area and the state of Nebraska.

From Fortune 500 companies to small family-owned shops, the Chamber serves as a catalyst for growth. It is a united voice to lawmakers, a partner in community studies and planning, a source for education and workforce development, and a provider of business resources. The Chamber understands that what benefits its members will ultimately benefit everyone.

On November 7, 2007, the Accrediting Board of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce designated the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce as an Accredited Chamber with 5-Stars. Accreditation indicates that a Chamber of Commerce operates under effective organizational procedures, and contributes to significant positive change in the community. To achieve this standing, the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce performed an intensive self-assessment of its operations in eight areas of work, including governance, government affairs and technology.
